Pimax Crystal Super VR First Impressions - The Simpit

With 3840x3840 resolution per eye, a 90hz refresh rate, 127 degrees HFoV (Horizontal Field of View), the Pimax Crystal Super* offers one of the highest consumer-grade VR experiences on the market.


Ameer at The Simpit takes a look at this latest Headset, offering some great tips on setting up for various titles such as Le Mans Ultimate and iRacing.



With 4 models available - the consumer choice is slightly confusing, though note that Pimax offer a neat upgrade path allowing customers to buy upgraded Optical Engines, which can be swapped into the Headset without the need to buy an entirely new Headset + Optical Engine package. I've included an example image below :
