Sean at the Simpit has reviewed Trak Racers' latest cockpit: the tubular-framed TRX V2.

Aside from the officially-licensed blue Alpine rig, Trak Racer are shrewdly offering the V2 in a set of colours such as Tifosi Red, Blue Bull, Silver Arrow and Sunset Orange. I'll leave you to figure out what on earth those colours could be a nod towards. A black rig is also offered.

Check out the video review here :

SIRA does have one notable concern for those of you considering the TRX V2 - and that is the ability to mount larger Monitors below the eyeline/deck line of the Wheel Base, which is something I prefer to do.

Based on the appearance of the rigs' design, Ultrawide/Super Ultrawide monitors could only be placed at a high position based on Seans' video and official product photography - or placed in front of the rig at a distance, requiring a larger display and separate display stand. Something to consider if - like me - you like your Sim Racing game dashboard visible behind your Wheel base.

Prices at time of this article, based on official Trak Racer websites (but not including P&P and any additional Taxes/Tariffs) :

US $999.99

AUD $1399.99

GBP £999.00

EU €999,00

Price-wise these are looking quite good value, if you're keen on something a bit more visually appealing than a black profile rig.

And be sure to subscribe to The Simpit!
