Turn 10 Studios reportedly lays off 50% staff

Shocking news via GT Planet that Turn 10 - developers of the Forza franchise - have laid off 50% of staff.
SIRA is yet unable to confirm this single source from elsewhere, but if so the Games Industry continues to shed large numbers of staff from established -and you'd hope stable- Development Studios, especially those under the umbrella of corporations such as Microsoft.
A recent report on GameReactor suggested "upto 2,000 employees - within the Xbox Division".
SIRA offers its condolences to those affected.
