Which Sim Racing titles are being played most on Steam right now?

Using the rather handy Steamdb.info website, SIRA thought to take a look at which Sim Racing titles are being played the most... right now.
To offer something of an element of surprise, I'll list the Titles alphabetically before revealing some top 10's. Some surprises in here!

I came into this article knowing how popular BeamNG is, with over twice the number of active players to number 2 in the list - and while it could be argued that Beam isn't a typical Sim Racing title, some of its latest Rally features argue otherwise.
Nice that Assetto Corsa -one of Sim Racings GOAT titles- is right up there, and exciting to see how popular Le Mans Ultimate seems to be, with ACC following directly behind. I wouldn't go so far as to correlate their successes with being focussed, almost single-series titles ; most likely a combination of that and solid Multiplayer lobbies & rulesets.
The brilliant legacy rally title Dirt Rally 2.0 is still ahead of the far newer Assetto Corsa Rally - SIRA certainly hopes that will change soon, as ACR is deserving of more recognition for sure.
The F1 titles are almost exactly popular by active players based on their reverse chronology.
Finally, the fact that Rennsport has only 1 more active player than Project Cars 3 certainly isn't a positive light for that beleagured title. Nor Project Motor Racing's current numbers.
A few notes :
These are not snapshots of sales numbers or review scores
The numbers fluctuated in realtime while I was preparing this article in Australia, proving they are very much live and timezone-based snapshots
These don't include crossplay numbers for console players, nor active console users outside Steam
Some titles such as the Project Cars series are not currently available to buy on Steam due to licenses expiring within those titles, though original buyers are still able to play
Richard Burns Rally fans - sorry that title wasn't shown within Steamdb.info
F1 25: 2026 Season Pack is DLC and not a full title, so figures maybe included within F1 25.
