Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC for short) is the second in the Assetto Corsa series, focusing specifically on two racing series: the GT World Challenge Series, (formally known as the Blancpain GT Series) and the Total 24 Hours of Spa. This means the title features GT2, GT3 and GT4 cars.

ACC is unique within the Assetto Corsa series, using Unreal Engine 4 instead of an in-house solution by Kunos.

SIRA considers ACC to be one of the best, 'serious' Sim Racing titles out there, helped by its Series origins and focus on a smaller set of Vehicle Classes.

How realistic is Assetto Corsa Competizione? - James Baldwin

The good

  • Very accurate for the series and Car classes it contains

  • One of the most 'Sim Racery' of Sim Racing titles in SIRA's opinion

  • Has a Career Mode

  • While engines sounds are mostly good, details like scuttle/chassis sounds really add feeling of authenticity

  • Well regarded Physics and Handling

  • Day/Night, Weather cycles and Lighting are superb, however...*

The not so good

  • *Due to Graphics Engine, requires high-end PC's to run well

  • Wet Weather not well regarded

  • Narrow selection of Cars and Tracks, due to the titles nature.

Fun Fact

ACC is a very rare Sim Racing title being available across 2 generations of Consoles.
