Assetto Corsa Evo: Release 3 includes Audi RS 6 Avant

Kunos have confirmed that Assetto Corsa Evo (ACE) will include the Audi RS6 Avant Estate/Wagon in the delayed and much-anticipated Release 3 of its early access title.

With 463 kw (620 bhp) of power, the twin-turbo 4.0L V8 RS6 is genuinely supercar fast with a 0-100 kmh (0-62 mph) acceleration time of 3.4 seconds, top speed of 280 kmh (173 mph) and space for an entire family.

All well and good but the community - and SIRA - would very much prefer to see more actual racing cars incoming to ACE, and not follow Gran Turismo 7's steady trickle of free (mainly) road cars added since its launch.

Based on the latest roadmap (below) there should be a further 6 cars yet to be revealed, after the previous media release promising the BMW M3 E30 and BMW M4 GT3 Evo. SIRA dearly hopes at least 1 of those is a race car.

The date for Release 3 of Assetto Corsa Evo is not confirmed at time of this article.
