'Race - The Official WTCC Game Game' - or simply Race - is a 2006 Sim Racing game from SimBin simulating the 2006 FIA WTCC Season. Additionally, the title includes Mini and WTCC 87 classes.
The game includes 8 cars from 6 marques (there are 2 x SEAT and 2 x Alfa Romeo cars) with accurate WTCC team and driver names accordingly.
Track-wise, the game includes all 7 official tracks of the 2006 WTCC Championship, with 3 additional tracks Macau, Puebla and Curitiba (the latter seen in the Automobilista titles).
Race had a successor the following year, with Race 07.
Official Website - "The game also features two support classes – Mini and WTCC 87.
The Mini class contains all the cars and drivers from the 2006 Mini Challenge Championship, and the WTCC 87 class lets you go back in time and try out two fabled cars – the Alfa Romeo 75 Turbo, and the BMW M3 e30 - from the 1987 season of WTCC."
SimBin renamed themselves to Sector3 in 2014, before being acquired in January 2022 by German automotive parts manufacturer KW Automotive who renamed the the company to KW Studios. KW Studios would go on to create RaceRoom Racing Experience in 2013.
Fun Fact
Race was released just 1 week after SimBins own GTR2.

Follows directly on from the highly regarded GTR2 with WTCC cars replacing GT cars
Some unique tracks at the time, particularly Macau which was rare in Sim Racing titles
