Turtle Beach - VelocityOne™ KD3 Wheel & Pedals + F-RX Wheel review by HokiHoshi

HokiHoshi has posted a solid review of the Velocity One KD3 package (Wheel and Pedals) and separate F-RX Formula Wheel, providing a great insight into these new products from Turtle Beach.
The KD3 is a direct-drive base with 3.2Nm force, a nearly-round Wheel with magnetic paddle shifters (no clutch paddles), a solid metal table clamp and a dual-pedal set. It is PC and Xbox - but not PlayStation compatible at the time of this article. Prices are around USD $449.99 / EUR €349.99 / GBP £329.99.
The VelocityOne F-RX Formula Wheel is a screen-less wheel rim suited for GT and Single-Seater uses, with 10 buttons, 5 rotary dials, 2 tunable clutch paddles, 2 magnetic Gear shift paddles and a 10-stage RPM LED strip. The wheel is compatible with 2 of the VelocityOne wheelbases (the KD3 detailed here and the Race Wheel & Pedal System not detailed in this article), and as the base - PC and Xbox only at this time.
In a very competitive market segment, and with new contenders such as PXN and Thermaltake, the KD3 may have a challenge to gain traction and new fans at its current pricepoint.
